fork options
I tried to sell the Ricor Intiminator but I test the product on an actual bike first. After re-Valving as well as using as is, I declined marketing this product. I did choose the Racetech cartridge emulators and correct springs which worked far better and the Ricor Intiminator & Racetech cartridge emulator are about the same in price. Of course the spring price is the same as both systems require the proper rate spring for the bike which are available numerous places. I do not install the Racetech cartridge emulator the same as listed in their instructions but the results are better. I have been selling these since 2006 so ask around.
Racetech cartridge emulators will never be equal to a real cartridge system. There are many cartridge systems out there and all are far from equal. Like all suspension, you can go through several systems until you find the one that works for you. There are many that costs a lot of money but there are few that measure up. Choose carefully and good luck.
"Will the Intiminator Fork Valves work with the hd premium low front kit I currently have"
PS, to answer your question, Yes.

I have the progressive mono tubes in one of my bikes. It is better than stock but I wouldn't call it anything more than how they should have come from the factory. For what they cost they are OK but I wouldn't pay more for them. The legend kits have mixed reviews on. Some swear by them some say they are too stiff. I really think from where you are now the only real options what Howard listed out for you. There just are not the choices out there like there are for the rear end.
The Legends cartridges I had installed on my 2017 Ultra were stiff at the initial settings. I talked to Legends and followed their suggestions on adjustment. Now the front end is awesome. I wouldn’t shy away from the Racetech system either. I have no experience with the Intiminator Valves, but DK Customs is an outstanding vendor and I would suggest contacting them and discussing that option as well.
Had Ricor Intiminators in the softail and currently have Race Tech Springs and Gold Valves. The RT setup is far superior. You will have zero regret with Race Tech. However, it is not plug and play and should be setup correctly to realize the full benefits. The RT instructions miss the mark on best setup. $250 for everything - springs, valves, seals, oil... and the results in ride quality and handling are worth far more.
