Wet MF towel draped on the windshield to soften them. To get them off even easier, you need a sacrificial barrier, sealant, coating. Coat the windshield and you can spray with a hose and they will fall off.

Please leave the household chemicals for the house, not made for the vehicles

Count me in on the heated, wet towel. Works fine for me on both my old tombstone shield for over 19-years., & now the newer shield & batwing of the FLHTK.
