Just looking for some feedback on what people are running with and how happy/sad they are with their choice. Lots of options and really no practical way of trying them all out before purchasing...
Your first option is free and simply involves adjusting your current bars, as already suggested! What others are happy with (including me!) is no real guide for helping you. As also suggested your local dealer may have a 'fit centre', where you can try alternative bars and seats, which may give you ideas on how to improve your lot.
Hey everyone, recently swapped my 02 Roadking for a 17. Love the scoot absolutly hate the bars. WTF were they thinking with these bars? Want to do a quick inexpensive swap 10" - 12" something that will not require anything other than unbolting and unpluging the controls and reattching them. . Any recomendations are appreciated. Thanks everyone.
I know where you are coming from. I had a 2016 Road King. Hated those bars. I am a bigger guy with broad shoulders and yes the wrist angle is off. In am putting 10" mini apes on my 2010 right now because that year RK they are to low. 10's you can use all the stock cables. Some say you can get away with 12's with the stock stuff if you reroute the cables/wires with some bars.
Update for anyone checking this thread for bar ideas. Ended up going with Wild 1 Chubby WO515 10" Apes. Awsome feeling and looking bars. 100,000 times better than stock.
You will definetly need the swith wire extension kit HD Part #69200034. Stock brake and hydaulic clutch lines just make it. Had to clip a few zip ties and pull abit but they made it with no issues.
Also the wire harness on the end of the throttle by wire is small now. No need to remove it like on previous models in order to pull it through the bars.
Thanks everyone.

Great choice. Glad it worked out for you. Finding the perfect bar is one of toughest things on a bike!!
