Sixth gear light not working 07 ultra

Same thing here as said earlier Speedomain drive bearing went out replaced with hd gear set hasnt been right since and cruise works fine I called v&h told them story they said to reflash map ride a couple of tanks of fuel than run auto tune did all that same problem try putting stock tune in thats the only thing I havent tried I know its a problem with the ecm
It appears the gear set change is the culprit.... Did you get the same model/year gear set? Are you absolutely sure the gear set has the exact same ratios as the one it replaced...??
Usually, if the cruise works, the gear ratios in the ECM gear ratio table need to be spot on, or very close, same for 6th gear indicator..
Are you are sure there are no mechanical problems with the 6th gear light (bad connector, broken wire, bad bulb).
With a PowerVision or TTS tuner you could change the gear ratios in the ECM gear ratio table.... but you need to know exactly what gears are in there now...
Not sure on FP3, but can you check the gear ratio tables in the tunes? Might check to see that the gear ratio table in your tune, matches the gear ratio table in the OEM tune...
it just seems that the problem is in the gear ratio table somewhere...
Changed gears on my 2012 bagger, had to get the tables right to get the 6th gear light to come on... Changed gears on my 2016 bagger, changed ratios, the cruise & gear indicator worked, but the 6th gear light didn't come on... messed with it for awhile, until it hit me.... There IS NO 6th gear light on my '16... I was confusing it with my '12...

Flash the stock tune back in it and ride That will reset ecm I would like to see what that does I will call v&h today or tomorrow and talk to them again but I know their is no way to adjust gear ratio parameters with FP3 but will make sure what ever yours is doing is same as mine worked fine took trans apart than not working
I haven’t tried to reflash ECM with stock tune file yet, but, when I was riding yesterday, sixth gear indication came on one time & cruise worked. Downshifted later then back to sixth. No indication! Weird.

Mine does same thing cruse has always worked and if I get on it or under load it works let me know if you put stock tune back in I just dont have time to do right now but that is my next move
