Sixth gear light not working 07 ultra

everything works cruse clutch switch speedo but no sixth gear light

Have you changed the gearing? The PCM does a calculation based on RPM and speed to illuminate that light, there's no position sensor in the trans.

No main gear drive bearing went out replaced that with new hd gear set everything worked leaving shop check it all only put 50 or so miles since repair rode Sunday noticed light not coming on if vss bad speedo and cruse wouldn’t work would it

Anything else not work, suggesting a fuse? You are correct, the vss must be working well enough for the speedo and cruise to work. There is always the other STANDARD stuff, the bulb or a broken wire/bad connection in a plug. Did the shop or you wash the machine recently?
