My question is will the older CBs with part number 76236-06C work with bikes that have the infotainment radio?
The new part number on the Harley website is 76000188. I see quite a few used ones that I am interested in and can not tell they will work or not, or if the cabling is different. Anyone add an older CB to their bike?
I have a 2019 Road Glide Special that I would like to add a CB to for our HOG chapter rides.

Thanks.....
Actually, the #76000188 is an old model, replaced by the #76000486A, which says that it fits 2014-2019 models. Also, Harley doesn't sell a CB antenna that fits bikes with the newer cast rear frame members. For a decent antenna I used a 3' Firestik2 kit. I had to drill one hole in the cast frame to mount it, but the antenna went through the hole reserved for it. You can read my write-up on it at the website below.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. The only thing different between the '14-'18 Sirius/XM unit and the '19 unit looks to be the different bracket included for the antenna. Also, the CB module (#76000486A) fits '14-'19 GT & GTS models, and so does the extra Audio input harness for the 7-pin DiN plug (#69200865), and the harness for the 3.5mm AUX input (#69200907).
The fact that both the GT & GTS systems are made by Harman International would point to them not obsolescing all the peripherals that still work fine.

I know it it an old thread but why wouldn't it work. I have both in front of me and the have the same Midland model number on them. just different connector. It seems to me that a cb is a cb and you change the power connector and it should work?
