Hidden antenna kit - anyone get good reception?

I had the dealer install the hidden antenna kit before I took delivery. It has worked perfectly for 2 years now.

Also thought about the hidden antenna. My parts guy claimed they’ve gotten better over the years. I was going to buy the relocation kit that puts the antenna at the bottom of the rear fender. There are multiple ways to mount the hidden antenna in the faring depending on what headlight you are running. I wonder if this is part of the problem?

I bought a hidden antenna of ebay back in 2015 for about 20 bucks. It works good. I probably loose 20 miles of reception when out on the road. Around town it works great.
