Progressive 944 12 inch, but has the travel of a 13. I am sure there are better shocks, but for me and my wife they are fine.
My wife really noticed a big difference over the air shock.
Ill be honest I wasn't expecting shocks to be so expensive. What is the recommended change interval for these? How can you tell they need replaced, they don't seem to wear like auto shocks.

No change interval. Replace when you feel they need replaced. Suspension is a personal preference, and if it isn't leaking, it'll take noticing a difference in feel to know if they're bad or not.
I just replaced mine at 20k miles because I didn't like the way the stock suspension felt (too stiff). I may sell them (stock 12" shocks off a 2017 Street Glide) if you're interested. These are the "low" shocks you've mentioned before. $200 shipped.
