I have the klockerks Ergo bars on my 16 Ultra Classic. They're not tall enough to need the extended wiring. But I was quoted $1600 for the ***** installed from an HD dealer in Oregon City Oregon, and paid less than half that at Salem HD. This was during their winter hours, so they have half price service rate. I bought the bike from Salem HD, but I think the price would have been the same for anyone.

I know people do it themselves but there is just a part of my that is fearful of the process of running all of the wires through the new bars, plus all of the messing with brake, clutch and ABS stuff concerns me a bit too.

Thanks everyone.
14 foot bars are gonna be a little tall.....

Get al the stuff your need for the bars and do it yourself and save you money for other things. It is satisfying and gratifying knowing you done all the work yourself. Also get a Service Manual.

Not a bad price at all. Did my own and used stock wiring. New bars, front brake line, throttle and idle cables, handlebar bushings and clutch cable was over $600. Thats just for parts, and you cant really put a price on the pain in the *** factor. Go for it!

Paid $1200 for all the parts and installation for my wife to get 12's in her Deluxe at the dealership. Worth every penny to stop hearing about the backache. My best bro was a dealership mechanic for many years and he hated handlebar installations.
