Default Moisture Problems After Rain

My FLTRU is garaged, but there's a part of the wall open to the air. After a rain, the bike starts but runs rough and poppy until the moisture burns off. Same deal after a washing. Takes anywhere between 5-15 minutes to get things sorted out.

Any solutions? Can I seal something up to keep moisture out?

Thanks.

I'd be looking at coil/wires/plugs. Try greasing the connections with dielectric grease.

Wall up the open area.

Are you running stainless braided spark plug wires? Better be SURE those suckers are grounded. Trust me when I say that not only will poor grounding cause hassles, it'll also cause your eyes to get REAL big if they decide to ground themselves to nearby body parts, like your knee, if they can't ground to metal somewhere. That WILL wake yer *** up very very quick.
