We got home last night , total mileage was 3003 and had no further problems last three days were the cascade loop in Washington state
Since the repair I have had no kick back from the compensator just nice clean starts . Out of curiosity I phoned the shop and asked to talk to the mechanic you did the work on the bike and was surprised when they put me through
I thanked him and asked about the compensator which he replied "Ya it was pretty loose I just put a new bolt , Locktite and torqued it down so you shouldn't have anymore problems " So Salesman said I needed new ,mechanic said its fine
Wife turned 70 on this trip and and sat back there the whole trip , Rain,hail cold and some nice warm days to , Im a lucky guy
