Or drop in a new 131 M8 ----$8-10,000

Dave

You forgot one other choice....

Drop in an S&S 124" crate engine--- about $10K all in.. (crate engine/install/engine peripherals/clutch enhancement/dyno break-in/tune

I just had FuelMoto install their version of the 124" S&S engine that comes with their "outlaw" heads (S&S Super Stock castings, CNC machined ports with max torque emphasis), into my 2016 FLHTCU.... I now have max 136HP and max 151TQ with a great torque curve....

I'm very satisfied...

Dave,
Ronnies is still a good source to compare a 2009 to a 2018 to see what's changed. If you compare the swingarm they are the same, spacers, bearings but the shaft is different . good chance the transmission would fit. Compare the Transmission oil pan gasket between the 2 years and there is a difference in shape.

The front motor mount is quite a bit different, looks like they changed in 2017. Any chance the 18 end cap would bolt on your 09 frame? If it would what are the chances the engine would fit?

2009 https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche...BILIZER%20LINK

2018 https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche...BILIZER%20LINK

Too bad there aren't spec sheets that show dimensions so you could compare frames and see what has been changed.

I thought if there were minor changes they kept the same part number and changed the - number or added a letter to the dash number. Major changes were given new part numbers. But with the frame the change could be in the steering head.

I know this doesn't answer your question but I hope it helps.

Either build yourself a 107 or, you could build yourself a 131" from an S&S block. Gonna run you close to 10-13K when you're done though.

Just get a new bike for 16-20K if you can swing it. 11 years newer, my man.
I’m not so s7re about the 11-13 to swap in a crate motor. Your numbers seem high.

It would be nice to have the specs on both frames. In just looking at a picture of the two, they look basically the same. That doesn’t mean they measure the same. You could drop in a Fuel Moto 124”
