My apologies if this is talked about somewhere else, this will be a fairly long post bear with me.
I have a 2018 Roadglide special, I use my iPhone 11promax paired to a Sena 30K. On a longer than normal trip this pay weekend, I noticed that when I plug my phone into my usb in the dash to charge it, the head unit on the bike immediately takes over, and starts playing it like an iPod. My question is there any way to plug the phone in, just to allow it to charge, and still remain Bluetooth connected to the Sena? Is it a phone setting possibly, or a bike setting. The service department at my local dealership was less than helpful. Thanks in advance.
I dont have an iphone but i found this on the interweb...
Go to the Settings app and then to Cellular and scroll down until you find the app(s) in question that are auto-playing music in the carfrom your iPhone. Turn the switch to the OFF position to stop them from using cellular data. This works to stop music auto-play streaming from Apple Music and the Music app.

Hope this helps.
Im not co concerned about how to stream my music, I simply want it to stay streaming from my Bluetooth on my helmet, and not play through the radio, when I plug it in to charge, but any info is appreciated, so thank you.

On your phone, swipe down from the top right To launch control center. Tap the circle-triangle button in the music area and then select your headset as the output device. Not sure you can make it “default” but that is how you can change the output. Same goes for gps directions within the map app

Thank you I actually did that earlier, and it worked.
I've had similar issues with my iPhone and Sena on my '19 ultra limited. I've found the easiest way was to turn on my Sena last so the phone would switch to that. I can't remember if I had made any adjustments on the bike though.
