I was driving home from work Friday and I felt something hit my right leg. Looked down and my whole air cleaner assembly was getting ready to fall off. Had to pin it against the motor with my knee until I could pull over. Stopped and grabbed it and put it in my tour pack until I got home. All 3 boults had come out. Guess I will have to check everything on the bike more often.

I don't care, but thats just funny. Almost like rapping the throttle and having a pair of baffles come out a set of drags.

My dad has had at least 15 hd's He says firstly the main tool to use for a harley is a hammer, if that doesnt work get a bigger hammer. and always make sure someone follows behind with a bushel basket to pick up all the pieces that fall off !! lol locktight is a wonderful cure
Makes feel a bit better... was riding a couple of weeks ago, heard something go PING kinda loudly. Checked over the bike thoroughly (or so I thought) didn't see anything missing. A week laet a friend was looking at my bike and noticed the nut on the rear cylinder exhaust hanger was missing. Explains the slight rattle I had at certain RPMs...
