Default SG and fork baffle?

So I was reading another post about the fork air baffle. Found it on the site:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Is this the right one and is it a pain to put on? One post says it mounts on the bottom of the upper fork tree. I am having trouble understanding that. I have an 07 SG.

Thanks

It is very easy to put on or take off as I have done for the summer. Way to hot for summer riding!!

yes that is the fork baffle, pain to put on?? if you can pop out the three plastic plugs covering the threaded holes, and screw them on........ I'd say it's not a pain to install. took me about 5 minutes and that was because i sat down to drink my beer before it got warm,or knocked over mines been on for 2 yrs now,i dont take it off during the summer,i've noticed no difference in being to hot

That's the right one. Don't take mine off in the summer here in the Northeast. Don't really notice a decrease in wind turbulance that hits me though.

Doesn't Harley recommend not having this on during the Summer because it removes air flow over the top of the heads?

I need to pick one up for Winter...

If you had a 1/4-20 tap handy I would suggest you run a tap thru the holes after you pull the plastic plugs out. Just for ease of installation.

I leave mine on in the summer. It really keep the wind from kicking up. It get hot here in North Carolina in the summer and I have had not problems with the bike as a result.

I second that idea. I almost got a hernia screwing in those two bolts.
