I guess I should have been more clear. I have a Road Glide Standard and my antenna is already down there. Based on your pic Frank it might work out for me in stock form. I'll know soon enough. And if it doesn't work, the good folks here on the list have given me some good things to try...and not try as well.

Get the HD antenna relocation kit, it moves it down so when the antenna is installed it's angled back enough to clear the TP. It's not expensive and pretty straightforward to install. Don't forget to get the plug for in the hole in the fender.
