Fairing Vent on 2020 Electra Glide

Fairing Vent on 2020 Electra Glide

Went riding with my buddy and we ran across some road garbage. It came up through his Fairing vent. I told him to close it and he said it doesn't close. I have a 2019 Triglide and I can close my vent by pushing a button. Looked at his and there's no button or any other way to close the vent. Why is that?

2020 don't have the vent close option. The part is not super expensive as I recall under $75 at the discount H-D dealers.

They went cheap on a few items with the 20 models.

Yep. Vent flap, second fob and the heel shifter are all gone. All can be added for a cost.

Some folks probably never noticed.

Also lighted front fender tip is gone.

How difficult is it to install the fairing vent?
Does it require the removal of the fairing?
