I changed out my Klockworks 8" for a FreedomShield Wide Touring 10" because my ears were getting beat up from the wind around my head. I had a little buffeting over the top of my bucket but that all changed with the FreedomShield. Great quality and customer service was excellent! Don't think you can go wrong!!
( I swap out for the Klockworks when I'm just tooling around because I like the looks, but put on the FreedomShield when I'm on the long road}

Good to know, that's exactly why I bought my freedom shield. Tired of the pounding in my ears with the KW shield.
I have the Freedom 8" touring shield. My 2017 Ultra Limited Low used, came with a 5" tinted screen.
Extremely happy with the quality, looks, and customer service of Freedom shields.
Anyone here have the touring model from freedom shields installed on their bike? I have one I just bought but I have to exchange it because its too short overall and the wind is beating my head to death. I bought the wider style hoping for more wind protection but honestly didn't notice any difference on my arms or shoulders as the description states. Plus I'm not 100% sold on the look either. Just looking for opinions on it from those that may have it before I make my exchange request.
I have the 8" Freedom Touring. Shield is at eye-level. Always wear gloves with cutoff fingers and t-shirt during the warmer weather. I Do not feel any wind. 6 hours straight highway riding in 40 degree weather on a windy day with full gloves and leather jacket. The wind was not an issue, but had to stop a few times to warm up body and hands. Unless you have heated grips or heated clothes, shield will not help.
OK apparently no one has the "touring width" model that I am referring to. Its about three inches wider on each side and the bottom edge is contoured to the shape of the fairing. Its a great concept but it looks a little odd because its wider than the windshield clamping area.
Thanks for all the suggestions on calling John and how to determine the height. I got all that. I'm just looking for the opinions of anyone that may be using the "touring width" windshields they sell. I am trying to find out if the benefit is worth the oddity of the appearance.
I tried to post up a link to an image of the windshield I am referring to but it always just goes to the website main page.
I initially ordered the "touring width" (9") and tried it out for about 100 miles on various roads and speeds up to 70mph. My experience was that there wasn't any noticeable difference and the look of it wasn't appealing to me. So I exchanged it for the standard width which I'm very pleased. Customer service was outstanding.
