Default 05 95" build

Hi all planning a build on an 05 e-glide and of course my brain is on fire ..I 'll start with what I have already.SE II slip ons stage I a\c and download.I have in hand 95" cyl and SE flattops. My plan is to get a 26g gear drive setup, pcIII and a 030 gasket to bump the comp. My questions are do I need adj pushrods for this and do 05 heads flow ok for this build. Also, will I need the dealer stage II flash if I install the pcIII with a canned map before I fire the
motor after the build. Just so you know there is no dyno within 800 miles. I'm not looking for crazy power just more jam passing 2 up. Any help is appreciated Thanks...

the heads flow ok for a mld build. If you look at the power commander web site you may find a map that may come close to your set up and as for a remap from hd there are more maps for stock ecu then stage II. I used the PC III but i found that the T-Max works great and alot more tuneable w/ auto tune. My bike has alot better throttle response since i switched.

Did same build on my 05 Ultra. Don't need the adjustable pushrods with the 26G, but, will make it easier in the future.

First, you should check the pinon shaft run out "BEFORE" you purchase the gear drive cams.

Second, if you're over 20K miles, would recommend new lifters. I put in the feuling lifters and feuling oil pump, PLUS the basiley spring.

Third, I was also not considering the porting work. But, bit the bullet and had Bean at Big Boyz do the heads. All I can say, I think it was worth it.

If your pinon shaft runout is out of spec, you might consider upgrading the cam plate, etc. to the 07 roller chain setup - roller chain can live with the higher run out.

My build - I ended up getting about 10% "better" gas mileage - yes, even on the bigger bore. This is because the air intake is flowing better because of the porting work. Was thinking maybe I'm running too lean, tweaked the AFR richer, but went too rich. I ended up using the Stage II SERT Map, but with the Stage I AFR table.

Good luck,

Weigh your benefits vs $$ very carefully - I went the same route as you are going and lost every penny when I resold the bike. If you're planning on keeping the bike for another 4-5 years, the $$ loss doesn't matter. But, if you're like me, you might want to sell or trade within the next year or 2 and then, it's a very costly outlay of cash for a meager gain. The extra torque and HP is nice, but, are better ways if that's what you are looking for - enough said.
