Default Brake rotors

Merry Christmas!

using a micrometer my rotors are measuring .20 minimum thickness is .16. I was planning to replace the pads should I do the rotors as well? I am thinking yes but a couple friends say they would replace them yet.
How thin would you go??

If you do the math, you still have 0.040" until you get to min. thickness. That's a lot of metal, which means there's a lot of life left!

Are you stopping good? Do they have a mirror finish? Do you have too much money?

If required it would be best to have rotor "ground" ( Blanchard or surface grinder ) rather than turned on a lathe

yes I am stopping well. They do not have a mirror finish some light groves. Money not an issue. If it were my truck I would turn or replace the rotors to have a fresh mating surface for the pad to bed on.
