It’s just an idea to try. You’ve got to do what works for you. I know the bike isn’t going over when it’s on the stand.

If she feels the urge to reach down and umm, umm, warm her hands between your legs, tell her to use both hands at the same time for balance.

If you have adjustable shocks make sure they are for dialed in for both of your weight.

Good advice here, I will tell you how I teach passengers to get on the bike. The approach from the left side and put their left hand on my left shoulder. That way I know they are there and I can let them know I'm ready. Then have them lean into the bike and put their left foot on the passenger peg. While continuing to lean into the center of the bike my wife will swing her leg around and over the back rest or step through over the seat if the Tour Pak is on the bike. She has been doing it this way for years and I hardly know when she gets on.

The worst thing a passenger can do is jump up on the peg and then lean back to get their leg positioned right. It should be a smooth continuous motion with their body over the center line of the bike. Now I have a freind who's wife weighs about 105 lbs and he is 6'4" 250 and she gets on first and then he gets on and stands the bike up. I don't have enough *** for that.

I did see a guy at the dealership on a Limited, he got off first and his passenger then slid forward and got off the bike. When they went to leave she got on then slid back onto the back seat and he then got on and it was everything he could do to lift that bike up off the stand. Of course she was pushing 200+ and he weighed about 140 soaking wet. So I guess it can be done.....Good luck on your ride...

This is exactly how we do it as well...First time ever, she started to get on the bike without me knowing she was about to get on the bike lol.. bad idea. Almost dropped it.
