I have the same issue with my new 2020 SGS. my 2012 did not have the wind problem. Yesterday the local dealership said no fangs for 20 SG. Recommended the windsplitter windshield to correct the problem. Got to do something, anything above 55 my helmet and glasses are moving.

japatter do you have the stock windshield? Definitely replace that. You can get fangs at several places that would help

I have a 2020 SG. HD fork fangs are available and work. Windshield will be part of the equation, but not all.

They are sorta hard to find on their site but here they are.

And they will not look like that picture when installed. Not sure why they used that picture of a RK.

Edit: I just looked, and I think perhaps the dealer said that is because they are out of stock at HD, like many things it seems.

I wonder why they don't come in black?

I wish I knew the real effect they had on engine cooling. My 128 needs all the air I can give it in the summer.

I just hate they way they look. If they came in black, and had no ill effects on cooling, I might get over the looks

These guys say they have them in stock. I'd check Utah Harley too. they have good prices as well.

I'd be willing to try them if I knew they didn't divert windflow AWAY from the motor, but I've never heard a definitive answer to that. Just opinions and speculations. Maybe I'll have to wire up an engine or oil temp gauge and test it myself.
Fork fangs definitely increased heat I felt off engine while riding at lower speeds and higher ambient temps, and according to the oil temp gauge I have installed there was--to the best of my recollection--maybe a 5-10 degree increase to oil temps as well. It's been probably 7 years since I installed fangs and they made such a huge difference at highway speeds I don't mind some slight discomfort at low (maybe <30 mph @95+ degrees ambient temp) speeds, but I don't ride above upper 90s/100 degree temps at most.

However, while speed mitigated rider discomfort from reduced airflow, it did nothing for oil temp--the increase to oil temps seemed like it was there even at highway speeds and if I were riding in 100+ temps would be concerning, though I'd likely keep them installed through cooler season and remove only when warmer weather required it. The aesthetics are also pretty unfortunate, but again they make rides so much more enjoyable I just try not to think about that.

Few years ago I did 2" tank lift, mostly for looks, but also hoping it might take some excess heat away; I didn't notice much difference either felt or oil temp, however.

Oh, and these are experiences on my Road King, so I suppose batwing might act somewhat differently...

The Glide Air Deflector System really works, and is shorter than the fork fangs, and are smoked lexan so they are harder to see. Combine them with a dog dish (spoiler that fits between fork tubes on lower triple tree) and a good windshield and you are good to go. I hated the Windsplitter, didn't offer enough protection, and the passenger still go blasted. I went with the Memphis Shades recurve, it is full width and flat across, gives really good wind protection and keeps it off the passenger also.
