35 days of waiting for the dealer to do something, now they are charging $100 a day storage fee.
I could see this if they were waiting for us to do something, but they wanted to pick it up and get right on it. Needless to say I wont be back there.

If the bike is total loss and you agreed it belongs to the insurance company. Ask how much they'll sell it to you for. Bent frame or tube, mean entire frame = automatic total, Harley will not repair that. I know everyone doesn't have parts laying around, but I have enough take offs that the Legends would have never made it to the shop. Gave away my last set of HD so called Premiums a month ago, but air shock are everywhere.
Fortunately I have a good relationship with the local Dealership and more importantly key individuals. Couple of weeks ago I got a call asking if I was interested in a totaled CVO (for the engine and assorted parts). Deals can be struck.
As stated by someone earlier, $20 and a lunch might have gotten those parts. Most techs aren't getting paid if they don't have a bike on the lift.
