It says in the instructions to put a bead of high temp silicone on the muffler inlet. Is this a necessary thing??? And wouldn't it make it twice as hard to get them off if need be???
They want be any harder to get off least mine were not. You want the muffler/pipe to seal good this can prevent pops in the exhaust when you decelerate.
Ok which type of high temp silicone am I looking for. Permatex makes high tem silicone gasket maker. Is that what I am looking for??? If so which flavor???
