Default oil filter bolt

So after 2 years finally got my 91 electra glide on the road. 50 miles later i notice oil filter hanging down. The bolt that holds the filter to the bike loosened off, lucky no damage. Question ,how do I get at that bolt? Do i need to remove starter and exhaust or am I missing the obvious?

Don`t remember how to get at the bolt, it has been a long time since I messed with one of those, but I do remember that it is a Left Hand Thread bolt...

IIRC back then the filter was under the tranny right in front of the rear tire ?
Bolt # 2 or # 10 ?

#2 , have been searching the site. Some say you must remove rear wheel. I am going back to the shop to see if that might work

Not sure if this is something you'd be interested in, but perhaps this would be a good time to install a filter relocation kit to front of bike? Easier changes and added benefit of increased airflow for bit more cooling.

took seat off and used ratchet box end wrench to tighten. Need another person to hold filter housing up from the bottom. Tight fit and could only ratchet wrench a little at a time but did get it

The mount is similar to mt 1885 flhtc and ti get to that bolt I had to remove the starter. That bt sits directly under the starter. Maybe you can get to it by removing the rear wheel but removing the starter was easier for me.
