So did about 300 miles on Sunday - about two miles from home my throttle cable broke - no biggy just put the hazards on and limped back at idle in first gear to get home.
My question is - I havent had the backplate for my air cleaner assembly off in years - when I removed it to get at the cable connections on the throttle body, I noticed a small silver 90 degree elbow attached right in the middle of the throttle body (See pic) I dont remember ever noticing it before, and it doesnt have a hose attached to it, nor could I find a disconnected hose anywhere. It is basically unconnected and just sitting there. Any one know what it is and if it supposed to be connected to something?
