My road king is having issues with the ignition. When I turn the ignition switch on, I get no KOEO engine light, and it won't even attempt to start. I have to turn the ignition switch off and on a few times to get the engine light to pop on, and then it will start. Anyone have this issue before? Any insight would be appreciated, I'm still new to working on Harleys. Thanks!
I had a similar issue with my ignition switch on my 1998 Dyna Wide Glide. Pull you tank console and look at the switch connector for corrosion. You can try cleaning it but I had to replace the switch assembly. It had to be ordered of course but it came with the same key code as my original so the same key would work with my fork lock.
I remember thinking how easy it would be to steal my bike with nothing but a wrench and a jumper wire when I replaced my switch.

There have been several threads on ign switch corrosion and over heated wiring at tue switch. It is not an unusual problem on an 18 year old bike. Some where able to clean the corrosion and re-terminate the wires other had to replace the switch

SInce you are not blowing fuses, you have an open somewhere. It is probably the switch. Check voltage at the switch both in the off and then on position.
I had that issue with my '03 Heritage. I disassembled the ignition switch and found a lot of corrosion. I cleaned it up, re lubed it, and put it back together... I haven't had an issue since..
I'm not saying that is your problem, but if after some checking, you believe it to be the switch... it's not really that hard to disassemble and clean... A pretty cheap fix compared to buying a new switch...
Here are some pics of the process... I had not done it before, so I took pics at each step of disassembly... they paid off when I put it back together. I got to a spot where I couldn't remember/tell which way it should go together... my pics saved me...
