So I did all the 1k maintenance with the exception of the brake torque check. I don't have the right socket that goes on those. What is that? It looks like a star thingy.
the brakes use 1 of 2 sockets either a 1/4" or a 10mm but both MUST be a 12 point socket, the 10mm are the largr ones on the mount. You can find the 12 point sockets sometimes in the really cheap sets or go to snap-on or craftsman
Thanks, I didn't think about a 12 pt. I have a manual so I don't need the torque values.
No Problem If it makes you feel any better I spent about 4 days looking for the right size inverted torx socket before I realised it was just a 12 point socket[sm=guilty.gif]
