No Oversized Rotors 2021-22 FLHTK-Unique 7 Bolt Wheel Mount
I ordered BrakeTech oversized rotors and the Ohlins Nix 22 cartridge kit back in September 2021. They finally arrived mid-January 2022.
I looked excitedly at everything when it all arrived but never opened the rotors.
I dropped the bike and parts off at my local HD for installation last week.
The rotors cannot be mounted! Ultra Limited for 2021 and 2022 HD decided to use a unique 7 bolt spoke mount pattern rather than the traditional 5 spoke mount.
The 5 spoke mount pattern used for years has plenty of options. The 7 spoke mount pattern has nothing!
I checked BrakeTech, Galper, Arlen Ness nothing. Anyone know of any options?
I should have mentioned I will report back on the Nix 22's after I get a few miles on them.
Funny when I left the dealer I was bummed out about the rotors.
I didn't even think about it until I was flying through a familiar corner and thought wow, I'm taking this corner fast.
Then as I was braking into a sharp corner and had no fork dive, I remembered Sh#t I've got a new front end.
10 miles on them, so far so good.
Hi thanks, Galper was not sure those would work and if they did, they do not have a "floating" option.
Honestly, there is no point in spending $600.+ just to do a standard size rotor swap.
$60. on better pads is the best option.

Still searching.
yeah, those are floating rotors, but use the wave spring to provide it. Not what I really consider a true floating rotor
