Unless its been over tightened and is stripped...
This is basically all you're dealing with..

That's what several people have mentioned.... stripped, or not connected as yours were....

If you get a hose clamp, watch as you unscrew it until it comes apart, like the top clamp in the above pic..... Then fit it back together... you'll totally get it... very easy to do, once you realize what needs to be done...

Glad it was a cheap, easy fix...

thanks for the posts all. It just didn't register what it was. Guess thinking hose clamps were for..hoses only.[/QUOTE]

Hose clamps are not just for hoses, the same way loctite is not just for locks.
Reminds me of the time a few drops of loctite in the key hole can really make that lock secure.

Seriously don’t try it.
A few drops of super glue on the door handle of the hateful neighbor's car makes for entertainment though.

Doesn't make sense. Loctite is not for locks.

Stealing a quote from one of you other threads........ "I guess I take words literally, and that confuses me sometimes."
I think you may be right, you may need to relax a bit and enjoy the good hearted banter in these forums. See a little "Gray" sometime.........

I think the name of their product (Loctite) is misleading.
I wish I knew that before I put in in the keyhole of a guy's lock at work. Boy was he pissed and he never knew what the problem was.
