I need to do something because I cannot see around my shoulders with the stock mirrors. Will this install help?
That also was my problem and actually still is: one night traveling East on route 50 out of D.C. in the HOV lane, I kept hearing what I thought was someone screaming in the night. Looking into the mirror, didn't see anything immediately behind me and then there he was. It was a State Boy on my *** screaming at me through his PA system (not sure of correct term) to get the frig out of the way. I immediately pulled over to the left and he flew by. Assume he was responding to a call that prevented him from hitting the sirens.
The next day I purchasedfairing mirrors, following installation of the mirrors the stock mirrors blocked the fairing mirrors. Went to WalMart and purchased "blind spot mirrors" and appendedon my stock mirrors. Solved the blind spot.
I want to use the fairing and handlebar mirrors. Arthritis has screwed up my neck and require any edge available.
Tomorrow (too many olives this afternoon) I will try the recommendation from Yokel99
and will let you know the outcome.
I have less vibration on my fairing mounted mirrors than I did with the handle bar mounted ones. They work good, but I wish they were mounted a little wider. I can see behind me ok, but I still see to much of my hands with the bars where I like them.

Do the fairing mounted mirrors vibrate so bad that you cant see behind your, or is that one guy full of it.
