So I filled up the bike for the 1st time. @1/4 tank. Put in 4.77gal with 152 miles on the clock. Average speed between 65-90 My math says 31.8mpg. Once the tuner gets in and run the auto tune for a bit I hope to see that increase. What are y’all getting?
18 Ultra Limited
K&N filter
Reinhart slipons
PV tuner on the way.
I'm averaging 38MPG around the city on my '16 RGU 110 with a PV tune from Fuel Moto. Going on a road trip next week, be interesting to see what it is on the road.
According to Fuelly, after my first thousand miles on my almost new, bone stock '22 Road King, I'm getting a pretty consistent 40mpg (38 highway, about 41-42 mixed use when commuting to/from work). I wish it was a little better, but 215 miles per tank is good enough for me.
2018 107 Stage II Road Glide, if I'm crusing fairly steady speed on the highway I get 40-42. My typical route out of town to the highway is about 5 miles, so I don't ride around town enough to know abour the economy there.
If I crack the throttle or cruise at 80 or above, the MPG falls fast. Same with headwinds, if is hard on the MPG.
In may I was riding sid by side with a 2017 Limited 107CI motor with V&H exhaust, air intake and programming. He got 42-45. My 2019 FLHTP 114ci stock with only 8000 miles on it was getting 35-39. We were running side by side with cruise control on.
On the way back, my mileage seemed to jump up. My motor finally "broken in"?? Dunno.
I am going to talk to Fuel Moto as I'd like better fuel mileage. And I've been told the 2019 114 respond noticably with intake and exhaust upgrades.
