This is for my 2019 FLHTP. Perhaps more visibility in touring section?
The provided mount for the Legends Revo ARC shocks will not fit because of my trailer hitch. So I've been looking around for options. Don't really want to mount below the trunk in view.
I saw a photo of mounts for the Ohlins shocks by Moto Metal, who died a few months back.
Does anyone have photos of those brackets? Ideas on mounting the reservoir behind the saddlebags?
Goose, I may be able to help you out. let me look around my garage.
I have an additional set of L shaped brackets that Howard used for mounting the rezzie. You do have to drill a hole in them, they do not match up, for my old 05 or my current 19.
I may have the 4 clamps/mounts as well.
Let me look.
there is a mount out there, machined aluminum, that is a single ring that holds the rezzie I like much better, but I gotta scratch my bald melon to remember where I saw it….

I thought I also saw that. But cannot find that now.
But because of my trailer hitch, I may have to go high, or replace/cut bolts that are too long anyway.
Similar situation, looking on how to mount ohlins reservoirs on a 2009 with detachable tourpak. The Krause front saddle bag support bracket looks interesting but can definitely see a passenger using them as pegs. Am leaning towards some L shaped aluminum bracketry and hose clamps to keep them hidden, think Howard's design, only problem would be if your running tombstone filler taillights between the bags and fender but someone here has done it so it's still possible.
SC, Im not running filler lights but I am running the fillers that cover the gaping hole back there.
Its a little tricky running the bolt through but they work fine. Im uncertain how filler lights mount but the HD brand filler plates work perfectly fine, hope that helps.
This is using the mounting rings that come from Ohlins and the L bracket from Howard.

Howard and Moto Metal are no more. O I would have already purchased them. Would you have a photo of the L brackets?
I am also debating using steel or aluminum L brackets.
Here are the mounting instructions for the Ohlins HD-044. They show a few brackets for mounting options. Perhaps you can call Ohlins and ask about those brackets. Ohlins HD 044 Install
