what color do you need? black? then you can get a good deal from amazon. same as advanblack or hogworkz. do you need color matched? then i would recommend oem. there is not enough of a price savings to go with the reduced quality of the cheap chinese ones (which other than oem, they all are). my opinion only. ymmv.

My bike is vivid black so the color match is not my concern. I doubt the tour paks from Advanblack and Hogworkz may be produced at the same factory as other Chinese ones.
I was just messing around in my spare room and remembered i have another complete set up from mutazu. If i remember correctly there was a knick in one of the corners or some ****. Its all in a box. Id sell it cheap just to get the space back
Having purchased an Amazon tour pack, I will tell you that you get what you pay for. I tested it on a cross country 14K mile tour. Amazon hardware is total crap and will fail. Only a matter of time. Also, the "paint" can be easily scratched with harsh language (especially the black). Finally, the quick connect brackets are also garbage. If I had to do it again, I would purchase OEM new or used...
I'm fairly certain that the advanblack and the hogworkz ones come from the same place. Not that it matters to me, I'll be getting one of them. I won't use it enough to justify getting the actual HD one.

I went with a used OEM tour pack from ebay. I needed to color match (brilliant silver), and found one that included the quick release mounting bracket for less than I could get one from aftermarket.
I'm done with Advanblack..wouldn't recommend them for anything. Cheap quality and **** poor service. When they communicate with you through emails, it's like English is their second language.
My neighbor has a 2014 RK and he added HD tour pak when he bought the bike. He told me several times that the tour pak has rattles, he just couldn't stand it.
Is it the TP itself that has "rattles" or the rack rattles on the docking hardware? The latter issue comes up a lot on here, but an easy fix.
I have a '13 King and bought the newer H-D chopped TP when they first came out. It goes on and off several times a year and I use it often on trips and so far no rattles.
