Decisions decisions....

Good point on the pillion storage. I thought about it. I have a nice Saddleman 3400 series bag, but think that TP would be more secure for longer trips. I tend to be little paranoid with bag strapped to my bike.
I like running an adjustable back rest because depending on how much I’m wearing (how thick it all is), and how long I’ve been in the saddle that day I tend to reach back and adjust my backrest, A LOT on the fly.

It still may, if she decides to go more.
LOL.. First world problems huh? I also like the look for One-Up TP. It would be awesome if they had a mount that could be reconfigured on a fly. I saw something on Instagram like that, but it was a prototype and the makers were looking to sell it to someone who would want to run with the thing. It was motorized too. It would move the TP from the One-Up to Two-Up with a push of a button.

Great point about adjusting! Your setup is what I was leaning towards. Is that a chopped TP?

Yep. I just put black plugs from the hardware store in the three holes for the passenger backrest. I actually put a passenger backrest on it first, but it just looked odd to my eye right behind the adjustable backrest.

That adjustable TP makes a lot of noise and is loose while riding I was behind a guy riding and I thought his TP was going to fall off with the shaking it was doing

we stopped and I seen he had this adjustable TP bracket on it. I told him about what I seen while behind him he said that’s why he don’t like it.

I ride mostly solo as well, but I like my chopped TP in the 2-up position for the extra storage room on the pillion. I have the small backrest but was thinking of these C&C banana pads. They have 2 sizes and can add extra padding for when the wife comes along.

I was told that Utah Harley's website is closing down 12/31/2022 so I needed to order all parts/accessories from local dealers.

Good news - One of the local dealers generously offered 10% off so I ordered backrest pad, king tour pak, rack, lock, liner, and torx pan sems from them.

Bad news - I need to explain to my wife why I spent that much money on my bike.
