Default Good Kit

Has anyone found a good kit with the properly lathed press disc for the later model bearings? A quick check, and Looks like George's website still show's the old style in the photos

Thanks

Here's a pic from a cheap Ebay Wheel Bearing Tool listing showing how to set-up for bearing removal

All I can say is ... Do NOT get Mad if this doesn't work out for you

I think he's talking about the way the tool is set up in the picture and the diagram. It's probably put together like that just for shipping and storage?

Get the tool from George's Garage. The installer pilots in his tool have a better design. It also comes with the NICE bearing.

The bearing driver needs to be flat from the inner to the outer race.. If not then the installer loads the bearing..
Here is a proper tool. See that the inner race and outer race are set at the same level. Many don't have that inner step..

You can fix them buy simply cutting the face flat..
