2005s had some issues in heads with oil consumption. Valves guides?? Which may not be addressed when doing 103". You can Google will come up.
Probably taken care of.
Other than that nothing outstanding for that year. Hard saying what they did with tensioners.
He had to stroke it to get 103, so money wasn't a big concern. I wouldn't not be surprised gears. Which you can see simply by pull cover. Pretty easy, though I think need to pull exhaust.
Do you have any idea when work was done? Updated tensioners pads and hydraulic tensioners were not around until after 2007, later I think for pads
wonder if he did timken conversion when installing crank.
If he did, that would be hell of bike. After market 103 will be lot faster than factory

Thank you for the info!!! The cam chest is a mystery till I open it. Thats my plan. All I know is it was done to bike pre-2009. I would hope in doing all that work the bearings were upgraded, seems foolish not to. I am hoping I get a good surprise when I open it. Like gears maybe!!! Will be a while, garage is too cold. FYI bike has 15k miles. I was watching the oil pressure and saw that 30psi idle and 50psi hwy and was thinking upgraded pump at a minimum. Honestly in driving it and looking at the claimed HP and TQ thats exactly how it feels. Pretty good grunt down low but sorta so so at HWY speed. Seemed like alot of dollars to spend.. but hey I didnt do it. Its a nice easy feel to it. Makes sense!!
I almost bet that the only thing they did to the stock oil pump was to add a spacer under the pressure relief spring or the Baisley spring. Nothing wrong with the stock pump.. My 02 RK had pressure like that with the spacer. After 80000 miles it did drop a little..
There are a number of kits back then.. Are there any badges on the cylinder heads?
Badges on the cylinder heads you say. I gots new badges when I did the heart trans plant. Yes,,, I consider the oil pump, cam plate, cams, and lifters the "Heart".
