I have a 2007 Street Glide. I was riding one day my gauges started flashing off and on and my headlight started going off and on the radio was flashing off and on and then it died and now it won't start. I thought the voltage regulator was bad replaced it and still nothing it won't even turn over. When I turn the ignition on hit the start button the starter makes a clicking noise kind of like it locks up but it doesn't even turn over. Also my headlights go real dim like it's pulling a lot of juice. Does anybody have any ideas would greatly appreciate it thank you
I would focus on battery and charging system. Granted codes are free and easy. But probably waste of time.
I would not have replaced anything based on what I read. Not saying there were not bad,

Your battery is definitely drained. Could have just failed due to age or you might have had an issue with your charging system prior to this happening that you didn’t notice.

Charge battery, see if it starts.
you're not serious are you? So no one should bother checking codes anymore? Even you said its free and easy so why wouldn't you do that first thing? It only tells you what's wrong and it even tell you the freaking part number for the bad part....yeah you're right...waist of time lol
