If you like to take trips go with the Limited. Was looking at the special at the time and my wife said why not go for the Limited as is already set up to travel, glad I took her advice.

Thanks for that...you've done a good job 'splainin If you don't mind, for reference...how tall are you and what's your inseam? Just in case I stumble upon a used one.
And in the Carolina's you can't live without the heated seat...HA! Not sure how you'd fare up here in the north then We need to stretch out our riding season so temps down to freezing are not out of the ordinary.

I hate hijacking the OP’s thread. Sorry about that Scott.

Lefty, people that visit us from Florida in May have to go buy sweat shirts while we are in shorts and t-shirts. I guess everything is relevant. I will say the advantage we have here is being able to ride 12 months out of the year. December through February you have to be selective but if you plan you get nice days. We have ridden the Snake on New Years Day and have been to Little Switzerland on the BRP in January. When it’s in the 30’s or 40’s that heated seat sure feels good. It takes the edge off just enough in the 50’s to make it worth it. As the old saying goes once you have had it you cannot go backwards.

I am a very handsome man at 6’1” tall with a 32 inch inseam.

They are now short one women's t-shirt and a SE King of the Baggers Cap

It was freaking standing room only shoulder to shoulder last Friday.

No fingerprints are always a good thing!

You could get a Limited and make the TourPack detachable.

After having lowers and a tour pack on my Electra Glide for the highway, I could never give that up so that's exactly what I would do.

Congrats on your trade-in, scott_0!

just in case you didn't know, if you do a long press in on the 'volume' toggle, a 'quick jump' screen will pop up. if you go down, that will mute your boom, if you push forward, that will give you the info screen.

edit: i see others have already given you this advice. never mind, carry on....

Scott. I'm 6' and have had no trouble with buffeting with the stock shield. I get a very mild flutter from time to time.

Do you ride with a helmet and if so what kind?
