I have an 07 Ultra and need to remove the license plate so I can install a vanity plate. I keep turning the bolt but it doesn't come out. I can barely feel behind the plate and it seems like there is a nut back there. I don't seem to be able to get a crescent wrench in there to hold the nut. I tried to remove the bracket from the tour pack but the nut turns and doesn't back out.
I was able to slip a 7/16" flat wrench behind the left side. However, I find that there is some sort of electrical cable up behind the right side. So the bag has to come off? The bag doesn't seem to be blocking me.
