Which one do you have as a spare? maybe between us we have a complete set! I did the same thing. the plastic nut/stud is easy to overtighten and break.
After I installed mine, didn't like the limited visibility it gave me to the rear. Added a set of long stem mirrors to the bars it works great now. the fairing mirrors work great as spot mirrors, but the long stem mirrors give you a whole lot more visibility to the rear.
I have a pair of Kuryakin's lighted mirrors with turn signals. Harley how has them this year. The Kury's were $149, the Harley's are $249. But the Harleys plug right in to existing harness behind the fairing. The Kury's came with bare end wires and splice connectors.
