Dan, I had a quote done on 7/25 for a new anniversary Ultra, trading in my '06, which just turned 18,000 miles. They will allow me to take off all accessories that don't leave a mark behind or screw up its running. That means they will trade in a basicly stockbike with luggage rack and rear top case chrome, foot pegs on the crash bars, and a Stage 1 download withSE aircleaner. The mufflers look like stock, but they are ebay style with the baffles cut back. It needs tires. They will allow me $14,500, or a total trade price of $9447, plus sales tax/license .

they did say my bike looks like 99% new, other than the tires.

I traded my '05 Fatboy for an '07 Ultra for $5700.00. The deal you've been offered stinks!

I do not know when you bought your bike, but I would check with the states lemon law. If you have taken it back 20 times for the same problem and it has not been fixed you may be able to recoup all of your money, and then buy the '08 for pretty close to nothing.

Yeah, get the old one fixed. Take it to another dealer. I have never had anything take more than 2 times to the shop to get right. You will save money in the long run and not have to buy all the upgrades over again for the new bike. Then again, it is easy for me to say that since it isn't me!

LOL. Did you check with your state lemon law? Do you have a shot a recouping any money? I would extinguish this option before selling it. If possible.
