I am amazed at the questions that get asked over and over again. Do youpeople not know how to look at the other posts on the site or not know how the search button works.

I will now answer all your questions....

What oil to use put JB weld in all three holes works beautifully everytime fixes any heat issue there may be.

What Tires to use cut old rubber off JB weld Sides of rims guaranteed to last 30000 miles....

What pipes to use...... remove old pipes JB openings it will make it sound like a champ.

What handlebars to use..... Take old bars, put JB weld on the risers....

Sorry to rant I get on here everyday and the same old things are here just posted by someone else.

I also just quit smoking after 20 years 2 weeks ago. I am a little on edge. So if this offended anybody. I apologize....LOL.

An HD tech at Sturgus once told me it costs Dunlop 100dreds of thousands of $$dinero to develop a tire suited for the Harley Dresser and other vehicles. Why trust another maker with the tires. Ive only run the stock tires since the early 80's with all my HD's..
I feel there is no better tire than Dunlop. My 2 cents

Nick, this man works for the MOCO -- I personally think you need to read between the lines , and here is what i hear in your words..
Dunlop had to make a deal with the MOCO , so in order for them to make this deal they had to make a tire that was inexpensive , and yet quality enough to get the job done. Not the best tire , but a good enough one.
I just changed my rear and installed a Avon, it feels more secure in the corners , but most of all it hooks up , a little slippage for about 15-20' and then we have traction...
I got 8000 out of my dunlop and if this makes it that far i will be happy and i think it will. I would like to try Metzlers next time
Have a safe weekend

i just replaced mine, stayed with stock dunlops only change that was made is the dealer asked if wanted a wider back tire $10.00 more, seems i had a narrow one on the back when they took the police tires off and replaced them with stock tires before i bought it,and they told me starting with 05' they installed a wider rear tire,my 04' had the updated swingarm on it when it was built ,so i was able to go with the wider rear tire(which does seem to fill the rear fender more looking at it). thats what they told me .
I too replace both front and rear together, even though the front has more miles left on it.

I here your pain, I read this same chit all the time ...

Buy to ease the smoking thing, if you really think about it, you've quit countless times and lit back up within a hour or so.. just this time it's going to be
for the rest of your life... Better Now? I haven't smoked in 15 years now, and am better for it... You just can't fix old...

I went with Avon's I like to lean into the curves they stick better than the stocks.
I went with Avons also for the same reasons. Less mileage but better traction and cool looks.
