i did wash it before i out it into the shed. the shed is not water tight however it does not leak on the bike. i do believe there was water around the screen which caused the spidering thiis is an issue for harley becuse the water should not build up.
As mentioned before, maybe try contacting the manufacturer? See if they can help you out with a repair? All kidding aside, keep us posted, hope it works out.
OP If nothing comes of your chase for a warranty claim, I'd suggest buying a used unit. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they are plug and play.
If you put in an insurance claim you'll be out the deductable. I see them on eBay for a G note plus.
