Well I am not full of sheet as you say. I went back to my local dealership yesterday to look at the 2024's. I asked both the sales manager and the lead tech and they both said "DO NOT TAKE THE CAP OFF. There is a sight glass to check fluid level. The only time you would need to add fluid is if the res is empty and then you have to bring it back in." I also posted the direct instructions from the owners manual. So rather being a troll and or douche bag, how about you just move on to other topics that you feel more comfortable with. And good job posting pictures of car radiator caps. I'm sure those pertain to a motorcycle conversation.
In post #60 you claimed a special tool was required to service the coolant system. All HD special service tools have a specific name and part number. Since you seem to have an in person relationship with your sales manager, and lead tech, surely they could provide you with the part number of said special tool.
Smoke and Mirrors, he is trying to justify his previous posts.
He doesnt know when to stop digging.
There are others around here like that.
Jesus. It is turning out that this site in full of a bunch of trolls and keyboard warriors. The OP was looking for options about his cracked screen. I gave options and even said one was morally and ethically wrong. An option none the less. Then I post a response about what my dealer ship informed me about the new cooling system. I then posted the instructions in the actual HD owners manual and even asked the dealer again and was told the same thing. And all we have is a bunch of old keyboard warriors riding 10 plus year old bikes that by their own words say they are not buying a HD ever again questioning what I was told and what the actual manual says. Sorry if I take the word from a dealership over a tool in a forum that hasn't stepped foot in a dealership in the last decade. If I am wrong about the cooling system great. If my dealership is wrong about the cooling system great. If you all think I am wrong please provide proof seeing you are the all knowing HD rider. Seems like most of you all are pissed that HD is not marketing to you all anymore and it has really got you butt hurt. Well maybe HD is tired of being know as the motorcycle company that its full of short fat dirty idiots that buy a HD and then complain about service and parts cost, and brag about how they don't support their local dealership.

1. Because I have nothing to do tonight, fixed the above so it is easily readable.
2. I am proud to be old and able to use a keyboard, we did not have them when I was in my younger years.
2. You really do not need to justify your existence.

If you would like to post about radiator caps and cooling systems, please start a thread dedicated to that.
If you are posting misinformation expect to be corrected. There are lots of good people with good information that they are willing to share. THEY ARE NOT TROLLS.
