I am in the process of putting new saddlebags On my ultra. There is a black rubber bushing that the pins go through to hook the bag to the frame. Is there a trick to changing them? Feels like I am going to tear it if I try and force it through the hole.
Thanks
If they’re original to the 2010 bike you posted about in your other thread, they may be hard and brittle. Maybe try lubing them up really good with some dish soap to see if they soften up. Then, try pushing them out with a piece of wood like a popsicle stick.
Just came up from the shop. Worked great. I lined them as well but do not think that was needed. Little heat gun and it popped right out. Heat it up to but it back in.
