They are easy to do so they shouldn't take too long. Unless you don't have adjustable pushrods lol.

Be sure it’s not just some white teflon tape shining near the fittings. Otherwise I would do what you are doing. I keep little tins of gloss black and flat black for just such occasions.

Yes, it will fit.

The clamp goes above the chopped engine guard, and oil filter is on the rearward side of that guard. The hoses are long enough.

Thanks for looking at our parts, and always feel free to email or call. Contact info below.

I am so sorry this arrived damaged. We normally do not let things like this pass thru, now sure what happened, but we will be reviewing processes.

You are welcome to call or email to arrange for a replacement of the dinged part.

@DK Custom You folks are top of the line. I ordered my relocation kit at 2115 last night eastern time and it has already shipped out! This will be my third kit from you and I know it will be another top quality part. I should have come right back to you instead of trying 3Guyz but lesson learned. The good news is I have plenty of left over black steel braided hose from the other kit to go on the new kit coming in. I'm going to use HD squeeze clamps in black for a different look. Thanks again DK keep up the good work!

i am curious as to what you have to say about the efficacy of the permanent filter you guys sell vs. paper
Oil filter discussions are a bit like oil discussions. I try and refrain from participating in them.

However, I will say the following:

1. I have seen that video, and while it does represent what we have experienced in our testing of parasitic drain on the oil pump on A HARLEY.

2. It does not represent what we have experienced when we have sent oil off to Blackstone for analysis, both from a variety of paper filters (including the OEM) and our permanent, cleanable oil filters. The Blackstone analysis showed the permanent oil filter was better, or the same, in every aspect.

The difference between our real world testing and the video are probably attributable to Two variables.

1. Real world testing (riding) a Harley instead of a machine in a room
2. The amount/type of metal used in the room experiment vs real world amounts/type of metal that goes thru a Harley engine filter

We can only go off what we have seen and tested on Harley's.

The permanent cleanable filters are what we run on all of our bikes, because that is what we have had the best experience with. Otherwise we would not make them available on our website.

It is near a hole and the hardware will probably cover it . Anyway I'll try to touch it up with paint today. I do not entend to return it. Thanks
EDIT: Here is a pic. I also slipped on a few O-rings over the fittings, to cover the white Teflon tape.
