I've been running 3 of their kits on the front frame downtube for a good while with no issues. I agree with you on the pax board location having issues if folks don't follow the instructions to the letter. A lot more hose to come in contact with a part of the bike that it shouldn't.

Just saw this post. As you can see, the Universal Oil Filter Relocation Kit will fit the Touring models that have no lower fairings, either style engine guard.

For those with lowers, we have a Touring specific oil filter relocation kit.

For the relocation oil kit that moves the oil filter under the left passenger foot rest, @DK Custom has a video where Kevin recommends to check the hoses every 5k miles if I remember correctly.

That is correct. Here is a video where we show what is important in hose routing and regular checking of the hoses.
