Work drive clamps are junk IDK what anybody says junk.
Even Dan Moore who was one of the guys that started offering
These kits years ago realized this.
He sent fuel line clamps with his kit.
Any of the clamps mentioned will work.
Use what you want. Im sticking with an fittings.
Not sure why DK is not offering the Parker fittings that came with the 3Guyz front down tube mount. Last I knew thats who was supplying them. If they make there own now Im not sure how they got around the patent cause it looks actually like the 3Guyz. Except they dont use the 3Guyz engine oil filter adapter anymore.
Around the same time that the patent expired, 3 Guyz stopped shipping these. They (3Guyz) also shut down their business for quite a few months. There is recently a different website up, but they are still not shipping.
When 3Guyz closed their doors, we went to contact the widow to offer to pay her a royalty on the patent, but then found out that the patent is expired.
Subsequently we did some design changes/upgrades, and that is what we currently have available.
We do not offer other clamps because there are so many options, that it is best to allow those who don't want to use the tried and true hose clamps, to choose from the huge variety of options out there.
There are billions of miles put on vehicles every year that use the same standard hose clamp that comes with the kit and have zero issues with them. They are not the prettiest, but they work well and keep the cost down for those that do not want to spend the extra green.
Regarding clamps. You posted the video we made on them. We like the worm gear clamps because they are inexpensive and very reliable.
The second choice are the pinch clamps, which is what HD uses, and there are very few reports of hoses leaking with them....they are just not quite a secure as a properly tightened worm gear clamp.
The one time use clamps for Pex are not really made for rubber hose and it is not the easiest task to get them tight enough, but not too tight...and then they are more difficult to remove, even with the proper tool.
The nicest option are AN fittings, and we have more than a few Customers that have gone to Summit racing (or some other supply house) and gotten the fittings to pair up with our filter relo kits. I've pictured one of them below.
The reason we do not offer those as an option is that they add a pretty significant expense, and there are so many colors and variables to the set up, it would be impossible for us to stock are the variations. The few that are willing to spend the extra $ on them can get exactly what they want at a supply house.
Oh crap!
Just went back to check the reviews and found many issues with breaking and weak clamps. I canceled my order.
Cornpipe, If you are willing, please share the P/N of the HD crimps. I'll may try those.
Mongo I ordered HD part number 10249 and they come in black. To be safe check with your dealer because the ones I have seem kind of big. I know you cinch them down but still they look big for cinching down to 3/8". Right now they are 1" in diameter.

Can you supply us with the part numbers for the Parker fittings that used to come with kit? Im sure your kit could be converted to them for guys looking for better option.
@DK Custom , hopefully it's just an oddity of the picture angle, but that looks like it would have serious ground clearance problems in a turn. Am I correct in that?

I'm just going to use the the clamps that come with the kit and later on I'll upgrade the tubing and fasteners. Thank you for your effort.
