Two weeks ago, I painted my 2007 Street Glide and had to disconnect some cables. Now that the painting is done, I'm reassembling everything. I found this cable that is not connected. Do you know what this cable is for (near the fuse box)?
When I turn on the ignition, the dash lights up, but when I try to start the engine, it just makes a clicking sound near the fuse box. Upon inspection, I found this disconnected cable.I have attached a video. Do you know what the problem might be? Why won't my bike start?
Clicking is usually low battery voltage from low battery voltage, or bad connection. I would snug battery cables. If that doesn't do it, put it on a jump pack, or even a charge on a 5-10 amps for a few minutes If it starts or tries harder, it is probably the battery.
To me, that connector looks as if its been tucked behind or under whatever for some time. Id expect that green gasket to be better looking. You dont recall unplugging that one? But, if the battery is fully charged and it still clicks, maybe that plug is to TSSM? Regardless, the receiving end (if used) has to be nearby seeing theres not a ho-lot of lead on that harness.

Already charge the battery full and still the clicking sound from starter relay

use a volt meter and measure the voltage with the battery at rest. then measure the voltage while pushing the start switch and let us know the results of both tests.

Voltage doesn't tell you everything. But it is good to do.
Again I would put a jump pack on or battery charge on 5 or 10 amp setting, and see if it tries harder to start. You can charge a bad battery, and still have a bad battery.
Reason I say this is clicking, is usually sign of low voltage. Of coruse, first thing to always check is battery cables.
Just reread, that you have apart. I would still make sure battery is good. But again clicking is low voltage, bad battery, or loose connection.
